Eeeeek yes it did!
 I am thrilled to announce that I've won the Brian Dempsey Memorial Poetry Prize and as a result of that 
have published my debut poetry collection with Dempsey and Windle...I am so excited to be able to share my very first book with everyone:

....and, back in the spring 2020, and BY SOME CRAZY MIRACLE I was chosen by Stephen Fry and Prue Leith as the winner of the 2020 Mogford Prize with my story 'The Lift'....I still can't really believe it. If you like, you can read the story here...

​Are you scared of spiders? 

Yes, though I'm trying not to be!
I know they are harmless and useful.
I guess that's why I write and sing about them, to help me get over my fear....

How can I get my writing published? Any advice? 

Be brave and send your words out into the world…I know it can be scary but it’s the only way for your writing to find the readers it deserves. And don't be scared of rejection - it only takes one yes!
